More Information about Needle Valves
Needle valves are used to restrict the flow of compressed air in a pneumatic circuit.
Needle valves consist of a tapered valve stem that is lowered into a valve seat. As the valve is lowered into the seat, the area where air can pass decreases, restricting the flow through the valve.
Needle valves are similar to flow control valves, but do not contain a check valve to allow free flow in one direction. Needle valves restrict flow equally in either direction.
