More Information about Air-Pilot Valves
Air-pilot valves use an air signal to shift the spool of the valve.
A single-air-pilot valve uses one air-pilot signal to shift the spool and a spring to return the spool once the signal is removed.
A double-air-pilot valve uses one air-pilot signal to shift the spool and a second air-pilot to reset the valve. If the first signal is removed before the second signal is applied, the spool remains in position.
